You are just a few steps away from applying to the 41st Annual National Shrimp Festival as an Arts & Crafts vendor.  But, there are several important items to be aware of as you decide to apply to the Festival.

Things to Know

Application Process - Complete application in its entirety & have it postmarked no later than April 15, 2012.  Please be sure to select your sub-category (click here).

Payment - Include separate check/payment for each fee:

  • Application Fee $30 – nonrefundable, will be deposited upon receipt
  • Booth Fee $275 – will be deposited after June 1, 2012 if accepted

Insufficient Funds Procedure – In the event a check is returned, the vendor will be assessed a $25.00 NSF fee.  Full payment is due within 10 business days of such occurrence.  In any case, a second returned check will result in automatic dismissal from Festival.

Image Requirements – Each vendor must submit a CD (jpeg, jpg, or bmp files only) which will include a total of 3 images:

  • 1 image of artist in studio working
  • 1 images of your art
  • 1- image of your booth display

All CDs become the property of the Annual National Shrimp Festival and will NOT be returned.  The Annual National Shrimp Festival reserves the right to use any artist’s images for promotional purposes without further notice. Only CD's will be accepted.  No hard copies!

Jury Process – All Arts & Crafts vendors will be accepted through a jury process.

  • Jury process - May, 2012
  • Notification of accepted or non-accepted status – June, 2012 (DO NOT CALL to receive information regarding acceptance.  We WILL NOT discuss this information by telephone.)
  • You may write the Annual National Shrimp Festival Committee for acceptance information.

Business Licenses – All accepted vendors are required to obtain the following business license:
